I was on www.gotfuturama.com ans thers a new article
this what the post was!
Finally, Futurama in cinema! Sort of.
"An Inconvenient Truth", the currently showing environmental documentary starring former US Vice President Al Gore, features footage from the Futurama episode "Crimes of the Hot".
In addition, the Futurama team is preparing a one-minute promo for the film to be released online in a few days. It contains new dialog from Al Gore, John DiMaggio (Bender) and Billy West as the announcer from the PSA "None Like It Hot" within said episode. We'll post a link here once it's available.
cool! ehhh

According to "rikki_rakko" at the rough draft studios message board "
^^^ ...oh good lord....
Yes, Mike, it's totally
real! And if some girl answers the phone, that's Matt's assistant,
Tiffany. And "Bunny Ranch" is the code name for the Futuama dvd movies.
So call and demand satisfaction!
Oh, fawk it, I can't lie anymore, it's really a number to some whorehouse in Nevada.
Also,
to our friends at PEEL, we really are starting the first dvd movie
later this summer, but I know you won't believe me and debate it to
death because I'm not an "official" source -- I'm just some poor schlub
who actually works at the the friggin' cartoon studio where we're
making the god-damned thing. That's good, you should be suspicious,
because I understand how many times you've been burned in the past by
promises that never came to pass and how much that must hurt. Me, I
don't know what that must feel like, because nothing like that's ever
happened to me -- well, I guess the closest thing would be a few years
back when my mom and dad told me and my brother and sisters that we
were going to take a family trip to Ireland, but we never went because
my parents died within a few months of each other right after we made
the reservations.
I think everybody on this board needs to get over themselves...especially you, Mr. Mike Huber, or should I say, Mr. diMaggio.

WOW!
"...you should be suspicious, because I understand how many times you've been burned in the past by promises that never came to pass and how much that must hurt..."
You are sooo right there... but let's change the view this time to optimism and hope for the "Best".
Finaly something, and what a 'something'... nice. Al Gore is kickass.
But what's the problem? Nuclear winter isn't far away, we'll all cool down soon enought... for good...
I look forword for anything new Futurama or An Inconvenient Truth related. Well... into the future people!(not the one described above...:) )

W O f**king W
Check this out:
Scummbuddy, a member from gotfuturama.com posted:
"Right now, June 21st at 1:15am, Katy Segal was on Late Late night with Craig Ferguson, and the last question he asked her was "Is Futurama coming back?" and she said "Yes!" she continued to say that it was coming back on Comedy Central and not Fox, and in episodes. She said she couldnt recall if it was 16 episodes or 13. She said she didnt really read the contract, she just signed it because she was so happy to be back in the role. She also said that it was also coming to DVD, which I took as to refer about the movies... but the new episodes on Comedy Central... thats sure news to me.
Of course, take this news as a grain of salt until better confirmation is made, as we know that the voice actors took some news and made it larger than it really was.... but one things for sure, the audience started screaming when she said it was coming back. Then Craig yelled at Fox for cancelling Family Guy twice and Futurama."
Hmmm... I'll just say 'interesting' for now...(the fact that I've heard something from Katey in the first place is 'enought')
BTW, '07 Xmas, seems a loooong way to go, hopefuly things will change 'till then, and even if they don't I'm very positive that it'll be worth it.
Update : I'd check that out myself, but they didn't upload the RM streaming for today(Wen, June.21.2006) on cbs.com yet.

she may have gotten her wires crossed with comedy central buying the old reruns of futurama, as opposed to making new episodes, but if this is new episodes HURRAY!

"Death to your enemies!"
This is a great day for all of us. Congrats on reprising your roles as Fry, Zoidberg, Farnsworth and Zapp.
Of course none of us (most of us, anyway) would be stupid enough to ask for any plots of the scripts, but are we getting the 4 DVD movies and 13-16 new eps?
I'm greedy and I want both!

I want an oompa loompa!
...but new Futurama episodes will do. Oh yes. They'll do nicely indeed... Congrats, Billy! Does this also mean we'll see a Futurama/Drawn Together/South Park crossover?
