Billy West..... What can I say that hasn't already been said? Billy was the last one in and the first one out......The call-ins, the channel 9 WOR show.....Sitting in and becoming a three-day-a-week contributor from 2/94 to 11/95......Billy's last show and encore was busting Robert Downey Jr's balls as "Red".......The classic moments are endless....."The Nigger Hatin Hat bit"....."George Takei Jr"...."Dr Smith"....."Raymond Burr"......."The Jackie Puppet"......"Judge Ito"......"O.J".....We always knew that Billy would be there on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays........The prank calls to Gary in the back office.....f**king with Pat Cooper......The "Fla fla Flowlys", the "Ma ma Monkeys", the "Fa fa fo hi's, the "Fa fa flunkys".....Billy West wanted more money and deserved it......Mel K and Howard discussed it and pushed him out the door......Billy's work was a major reason why the Stern Show blew up and got a major syndication deal in early 96 in his abesence.....And then came the movie.....Jackie and Billy....What a team.......It was magic.....Or maybe it's just me because I grew up on it.

Billy's bits on Stern were legendary. The Jackie puppet alone was insanely funny, and I was already all grown up. However, I'm really looking forward to the new stuff. Billy Bastard sounds very intriguing. From what I have gathered BB is loosely based on Billy's wilder drug and alcohol hazed self from his bad old days, but meaner and more self serving. I keep hearing rumors of a direct to DVD Futurama project, but so far nothing is in the works. It is safe to say that Billy will be keeping busy.

Good news everyone!
I just got an e-mail from David X.Cohen saying that things look very good
for the Futurama DVD's! He said we'll probably be starting up after new
years.I'm very psyched to get back together with all my friends again.I guess
this is a belated xmas present!

Billy, have you heard anything from the other actors on the show? As far as their interest in doing Futurama again? I know John Dimaggio is on board, anyone else?

No way! I stood up and did somewhat of a dance at the thought of new
Futurama.
Although I suppose it was technically more of a walk around my room, but
close enough.
